These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the ColorBuddy mobile application ("App", "we", "us", or "our"). By downloading, installing, or using ColorBuddy, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
ColorBuddy is a mobile application that helps users manage their physical coloring book collections. The App allows you to:
You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account and use ColorBuddy. By creating an account, you represent that you meet this age requirement.
Accounts are created and accessed through third-party authentication providers (Google Sign-In and Apple Sign-In). You are responsible for maintaining the security of your authentication credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
You agree to provide accurate information when setting up your profile, including your username. You may update your profile information at any time through the App.
ColorBuddy offers a free tier that allows you to upload up to 50 page images. All other features of the App are available without restriction on the free tier.
New users receive a 30-day free trial with unlimited page image uploads. When the trial expires, your account reverts to the free tier limits. Any pages uploaded during the trial period are retained.
ColorBuddy Pro is an auto-renewable subscription that provides unlimited page image uploads. Pro is available as a monthly or yearly subscription.

Payment is charged to your Apple ID account (App Store) or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase. The subscription price is displayed in your local currency at the time of purchase.
Your subscription automatically renews unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the same price.
You can manage and cancel your subscription at any time through your device settings:
If you cancel your subscription, you will retain access to Pro features until the end of your current billing period. After that, your account will revert to the free tier. No refunds are provided for partial subscription periods.
We may change subscription prices from time to time. Any price changes will take effect at the start of the next billing period following notice of the change. Your continued use of the subscription after the price change constitutes your agreement to pay the updated amount.
You retain ownership of all content you upload to ColorBuddy, including photographs of coloring pages, book cover images, and profile pictures ("User Content").
By uploading User Content, you grant ColorBuddy a non-exclusive, worldwide licence to store, display, and transmit your User Content solely for the purpose of providing the App's services to you and other users you have chosen to share content with (such as Buddy Color group members).
You may delete your User Content at any time through the App. Upon account deletion, all associated User Content is permanently removed from our systems.

The ColorBuddy App, including its design, features, code, branding, and documentation, is owned by the developer and protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights to use our trademarks, logos, or branding without prior written consent.
ColorBuddy integrates with third-party services including Supabase, Google Sign-In, Apple Sign-In, RevenueCat, and Firebase. Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the practices of third-party service providers.
You may delete your account at any time through the App settings. Upon deletion, your profile, library data, Buddy Color submissions, and all associated content are permanently removed.
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, engage in abusive behaviour, or if required by law. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you before taking such action, except where immediate action is necessary to protect other users or our systems.
ColorBuddy is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from harmful components. We are not responsible for any loss of data, though we take reasonable measures to protect your content.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, ColorBuddy and its developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, or goodwill, arising from your use of the App.
Our total liability for any claims arising under these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms within the App and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the App after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
